Nepal President Bidhya Devi Bhandari’s India trip has been cancelled. Bhandari was to arrive in India for a five-day visit on May 9, with a trip to the Kumbh Mela in Ujjain. Nepal government Friday cancelled President Bidhya Devi Bhandari’s visit to India and recalled its ambassador to India Deep K Upadhyay.The Cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today, decided to recall Mr Upadhyay after he held a conversation with Mr Oli in the morning as President Bidhya Devi Bhandari’s India visit was cancelled by Nepal unilaterally, without even informing him.
