A surveillance camera captured a heartwarming scene in east China's Anhui Province in which many people lent a helping hand to an elderly man trying to cross the road. The video, taken on May 4, at a crossroad in Anhui's Fuyang City, shows a senior citizen carrying a pink bag walking extremely slowly trying to cross the busy road – but failing. Two women reached out when he was just about to fall, saving him from a serious fall. Soon many other passersby came to his rescue and called for medical assistance. The elder man is now in a stable condition, said doctors treating him.
