Posted by Anup Baral April 27, 2016 :Newly elected President of the Nepali Congress and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba met Indian Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj in New Delhi on Thursday. Deuba is on a week-long private trip to New Delhi for his wife and NC lawmaker Arzu Rana Deuba’s health treatment. She is currently admitted to a hospital in Delhi. It has been learned that she successfully underwent a hip replacement surgery on Wednesday.In the meeting, Swaraj congratulated Deuba for his election and extended best wishes for the successful tenure. She also stated that India’s cooperation to Nepal had been constant in its development and would be the same in the future as well.
